Regarding the Thor, Wolverine and reaction speed discussion... In the Marvel handbooks it has been listed that the majority of superhumans have "instantaneous reflexes". Is it safe to say that while Thor and Silver Surfer might not be able to run fast or move their limbs fast in general, they still perceive everything instantly and are therefore capable of tagging much faster opponents? Which would explain why the Hulk can hit the Sentry / Gladiator every now and then...

I think that once you get to the point where all of your characters can do infinite things, you’ve eliminated any and all drama from your stories. None of this stuff is remotely plausible–it is fantasy–so you want enough believability that there is verisimilitude, but not so much that you need an abacus to figure out how the simplest actions should go.
