weirdvintage: If I had Watchbirds watching me, I would never be a naughty thoughtless little Light-Leaver Lumpkin, either.  From the July 1951 Ladies Home Journal,  (scanned by WeirdVintage) I have Munro Leaf’s whole book of Watchbirds. Maybe one day I’ll scan some others. As cautionary tales they’re actually kind of tame, if you know any of the German ones from way back in the day (Struwwelpeter and that lot).
